Versatile and results-driven, Tharshan Sreetharan is an accomplished visionary CxO & IT leader and business technology strategist with core expertise in delivery, product management, business analysis and IT projects & program management. He had vast experience in directing & spearheading overall delivery and operations of product engineering, software services and IT strategic business units and companies on a global scale.

Tharshan is an experienced senior technical product management, delivery and business analysis director and C Level executive leader with proven ability to lead and manage the creation and development of several software products, digital and IT solutions from conceptualization, inception to global product growth and
beyond for global clients and business partners.

He has a proven track record of managing and successfully delivering multimillion-dollar software development, product engineering, digital & agile transformation projects and programs across multiple sectors/ industries at a global scale. An entrepreneur with sharp business acumen. Tharshan builds and develops successful international technology organizations ‘ engineering/technology centers’ from the ground up in Sri Lanka managing all operations locally and globally heading the delivery management practices at a global scale.

Innovative and forward-thinking, Tharshan delivers the technology vision, strategy, and leadership to global enterprise operations. With strong cross-functional coaching, people management and mentoring skills, Tharshan helps build high-performance engineering and delivery teams that deliver optimized business outcomes.

He has supported and provided directions and leadership to several technology startups and corporate companies to reach their technology goals, optimizing their global operating models and delivery methodology and have provided due diligence for delivery, product and engineering teams. Educational Background

Tharshan holds a master’s degree (MBA) and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Information Technology with specialization in Software Engineering from Edith Cowan University in Australia.

Tharshan also holds multiple professional certifications in business analysis, product management, agile and scrum leadership and in ITIL.  His professional certifications include: Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP®), Certified Project Management Professional (PMP ®), Certified Scrum Master (CSM ®), Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO ®), Certified Scrum Professional – Scrum Master (CSP-SM ®) and Certified Scrum Professional – Product Owner (CSP-PO ®).

Tharshan also holds advanced qualifications in product management, requirements engineering, project and program management and in business administration:

Tharshan is one of the co-authors of Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK 3.0) published by IIBA (International Institute of Business Analysis).

Tharshan is a qualified and certified coach, mentor, and trainer for many IT professional’s including business analysts, product managers, software & quality engineers, project & program managers, solution delivery consultants, digital transformation consultants, agile coaches and IT leaders. Tharshan is also a visiting lecturer for several university degree and master degree programs in business administration and IT management and engineering.
